Taekwon-Do


The “Korean art of self-defense,” Taekwon-Do was originally created for the South Korean army by General Choi Hong-Hi with the help of Nam Tae-Hee and other Korean martial arts pioneers of the era. General Choi named the art “Taekwon-Do” on April 11, 1955. Known for dynamic kicking, Taekwon-Do focuses on unarmed combat.

International Taekwon-Do Federation


The International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) is the main governing body for Taekwon-Do, with Master Choi Jung-Hwa as the president of the organization. Established on March 22nd, 1966 by General Choi.

We also belong to the United States International Taekwon-Do Federation (US-ITF) which is an INO of the ITF, currently headed by Master Robert Wheatly.
